I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the train station and right in the town centre. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room was clean and comfortable, with hot water for showers every day. Additionally, the hotel facilities were great, and I particularly enjoyed the Caribbean meal and cocktails on the first night.

The building itself is a beautiful old tavern that has been recently refurbished, giving it a charming and classic feel. My room was comfortable, well furnished, and impeccably clean. The hotel is conveniently located close to the centre of town and within minutes of the railway station. I also enjoyed the stunning view from my room, overlooking a church spire and the green hills of the Calder Valley. Additionally, the breakfast offered a delicious continental spread, including toast, cereals, pastries.
