The decor and finishing touches are stunning. We were really impressed with the cleanliness and the attention to detail. The hotel facilities were great, including plenty of parking space and a lovely lounge area to relax in. The restaurant served delicious food, especially the breakfast which was cooked to order and really satisfying. this hotel provided us with a great base for our walking adventures and we couldn't have been happier with our stay.
There was nothing we didn't like.
The breakfast was marvellous, especially the homemade muesli. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel's location was lovely, overlooking Skiddaw with its snow-covered peak. The room was well-furnished, warm, and had a comfortable extra-large bed. The bathroom was well-provided with toiletries. We also appreciated the wide choice of food offered for both the evening meal and breakfast.
Nothing to mention.
