Laurel Cottage Windermere

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! Everything, from check-in to check-out, was so pleasant. The staff, especially the owner, was incredibly helpful and friendly. He was knowledgeable about the area and gave great recommendations. The room was clean and incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options to choose from. The hotel is located in a really quiet area with well-kept gardens, but it's also conveniently near the town center and just a short walk down to the lake. I had an amazing experience here and would definitely return.

Hard to think of anything negative about this hotel. The room was a bit cramped and I wish there was a wash hand basin in the toilet area.

The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, with both the room and bathroom being spotless. The hotel facilities were great, including a handy fridge for guests to use and a dining room for takeaway meals. Parking was always easy to find on the road outside, and the location in a really quiet area close to the town centre was perfect for exploring this beautiful part of the Lake District. The breakfast spread had a great selection and was delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful, providing lots of information on the area.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a cozy couch for relaxation. The bed was excellent, with plenty of pillows. The bathroom was clean and the shower was good. The breakfast was fabulous, offering a great variety and delicious food. The owners, Alison and Wayne, were very welcoming and helpful. The location was excellent, with easy access to the nearby village for dining options and a short walk to the lakeside for lake excursions.

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The location was perfect, situated close to shops and restaurants, with a stream nearby. It was also convenient to explore Windermere village for meals or take a 20-minute walk to the lakeside for lake excursions. The cleanliness of the room was excellent, and the hotel facilities were top-notch. The breakfast was delicious and made with locally sourced goods. The staff was warm and friendly, always asking if we needed anything in our room and providing fresh towels daily.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

The hotel had spacious and clean rooms, with a comfortable four-poster bed. The en-suite bathroom was also a good size. The breakfast served here was delicious, especially the Full English and Haddock with Poached Eggs options. The hosts, Wayne and Alison, were amazing and provided great advice about the local area. The hotel's location was beautiful, with stunning scenery and convenient access to the Lake District attractions. Additionally, the hotel's cleanliness and facilities were top-notch.
