I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, just around the corner from where I needed to be. The greeting upon arrival was warm and even the family dog seemed to enjoy it. The view from my room was incredible, with a stunning overlook of Kinloch and Lake Taupo. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, and the facilities provided were excellent. I especially loved the large pétanque area outside, which provided a fun activity for guests. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making sure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast served was the best I had during my trip in New Zealand, with a delicious selection of continental and cooked options. I highly recommend this hotel for its convenient location, stunning views, cleanliness, and friendly staff.

We had an incredible stay at this lodge. The greeting was warm and friendly, and even the family dog joined in on the welcome. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, and the facilities were excellent. We especially loved the large pétanque area outside, where we could enjoy a game with friends. The location was superb, away from the busyness of the city and provided a peaceful and quiet retreat. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a comfortable sleepyhead bed that was truly amazing. The hosts, Christina and Steve, were incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure a great stay. I particularly enjoyed the delicious homemade breakfasts and evening drinks, which also allowed for opportunities to socialize with other guests. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to Kinloch and its easy access to Taupo, just a short 15-minute drive, made it a convenient choice.

The location was ideal, close to Kinloch and just a short drive from Taupo. The staff were warm, friendly, and provided helpful local knowledge. Breakfast was homemade, creative, and absolutely delicious.
