We had a fantastic stay at this unique and tranquil property. The cottage was beautiful, cosy, and comfortable. The spa bath for two was perfect for a soak after a day walking. The staff was helpful in giving us information about the surrounding area and places to go in the area. The hotel is located in a fascinating garden that is flush to a cliff, providing stunning views. The breakfast served was delicious and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

The gardens were stunning, with beautiful water features and even a tin mine. I enjoyed strolling through the landscaped garden, it was so peaceful. The Garden Suite was separate from the main house and had a spacious bathroom with a jacuzzi bath. The breakfast, cooked to order, was excellent. The host was very friendly and provided helpful information about the surrounding area.

Cleanliness - The hotel was very clean and welcoming, making me feel comfortable during my stay. Hotel facilities - The hotel had everything I needed to make my stay perfect, including a spa bath for two which was perfect for relaxing after a long day of walking. Location - The hotel is located in a lovely village with two nearby pubs and beautiful gardens, providing a peaceful and picturesque setting. Breakfast - The breakfast provided was excellent, delicious and satisfying every morning. Staff - The staff was warm, welcoming and helpful, providing useful information during my stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable and had all amenities. The bathroom was spacious and the toiletries were of good quality. The view from the window was gorgeous, overlooking part of the garden and a lovely waterfall. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to our own specifications. The hotel is located in a great location for exploring the Peak District. We were also pleased to find that there are two great local pubs nearby, within walking distance.
