We loved the brilliant staff who were friendly, attentive, and helpful. They provided great recommendations for walks and boat trips, and even gave us discount vouchers. The bed in our room was incredibly comfortable and had nice bedding. The breakfast was amazing, with a nice informal atmosphere in the dining area. The location of the hotel was fantastic, with easy access to the town centre and local walking routes. the hotel had its own parking facilities, making it convenient for us to explore the lovely places in the Lake District.
There was nothing we didn't like.
The staff were incredibly friendly and couldn't do enough to help us. We were allowed to leave our car in the car park even after we checked out, and when we returned from a rainy walk, they let us back into our room to get changed. The hotel also had DVDs available to borrow, which was a nice touch. The breakfast was delicious, with lots of variety and options to appeal to everyone. The location was perfect, just a stone's throw from the very center of the city, and we had no trouble with parking. The staff even photocopied a map for us to walk around a nearby lake. this hotel had great staff, a tasty breakfast, and a convenient location with parking.
